Senior Helpers of Western Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties is seeking trusted, compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe and comfortable at home. Training and support are provided for all levels of experience, with on-going mentorship and a positive team culture.

Roles offer full-time or part-time hours across weekdays and weekends, with weekday and weekend premiums. Join a team dedicated to dignity, respect, and reliable, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
• Proven reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Parkinson’s and Dementia care experience are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Accurately document care provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff.
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when needed.
