Visiting Angels of Fredericksburg is recruiting Companion Care Providers, PCAs, HHAs, CNAs and Skilled Care Professionals for part-time and full-time roles in the local community. You will build meaningful, one-on-one relationships while delivering compassionate home care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active PCA, NA, or CNA certification.
• 1+ year experience in healthcare, home care, or hospitality.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, patient, and capable of building strong client relationships.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on personal care (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers at home and outside.
• Administer medication reminders and run daily errands.
• Engage clients with meaningful activities and companionship.
• Respond promptly in emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with personal hygiene and care (bathing, showering, dressing, and eating).
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
• Assist with mobility and transfers inside and outside the home (for example: walks, exercise, or doctor appointments).
• Administer medication reminders and assist with daily errands.
• Engage clients in meaningful everyday activities and companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in the event of an emergency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Active certification/license: PCA, NA, or CNA.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare, home care, or hospitality settings.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• A supportive, compassionate nature with a passion for one-on-one client care.
• Ability to pass a state-mandated background check, reference check, and drug screen.
