Always Best Care is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide home care services to our clients in Dover, DE. Pre-employment requirements:

• Adult Abuse Registry Check
• Criminal Background Check and Fingerprinting
• Drug Screen
• Tuberculosis testing at the time of hire
• Physical exam

Responsibilities: Duties vary per client but may include:

• Daily care such as feeding, grooming, and bathing
• Light shopping
• Providing companionship and reassurance
• Meal preparation and cleanup
• Reporting incidents or concerns promptly
• Other assigned duties

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 2 years of experience working with seniors in a home setting preferred
• Proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and professionally with diverse personalities
• Three references required
• Proof of recent TB/PPD test
• Ability to pass a background check
• Certifications such as CNA, HHA, BLS/CPR are a plus

Physical Demands:

Physical requirements vary per client but may include:

• Transferring clients
• Standing for long periods
• Lifting over 10 lbs

Some clients require medium to heavy activity, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching.

This position operates out of the client's home and has no supervisory responsibilities.
