Job summary

HealthOp Solutions in Gilbert, AZ is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, helping them build independence and confidence both at home and in the community. No prior DSP experience is required; we welcome caring individuals with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

We provide training and support to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card within 90 days of hire.
• CPR certification (training available).
• First Aid certification (training available).
• Article 9 certification (training available).
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally when needed.
• Ability to assist individuals with mobility and daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and toileting.
• Prepare simple meals and assist with meal planning and cooking
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe home environment
• Encourage participation in recreational activities, games, crafts, and life-skills development
• Accompany individuals on community outings, appointments, and social activities
• Provide encouragement, companionship, and emotional support
• Follow individualized care plans and document services as required
• Maintain a safe environment while following organizational policies and procedures
• Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and fellow team members

Available Shifts:

• Evenings: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Overnights: 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Weekends: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
