Job summary

Companions Forever in Connecticut is hiring caring caregivers to provide non-medical home care across CT. Flexible shifts include weekdays, overnights, live-in, and weekend options, with a competitive hourly rate and referral bonuses.

As a companion or caregiver, you’ll follow each client’s Plan of Care, assist with daily tasks, transport to appointments, and offer companionship. Required HS diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and background check; open availability preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver\'s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client\'s individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
