Position Overview

Job Summary

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) provides general non-certified routine services following established procedures under supervision.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping and laundry, including trash removal and changing unoccupied beds.
• Support meal service, including resident transportation, tray delivery, and enhancing dining experiences.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights.
• Check residents unable to call for help frequently.
• Assist with 1:1 observations as assigned.
• Communicate with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse regarding resident condition changes, concerns, and grievances.
• Provide excellent customer service, companionship, and engagement in activities.
• Help clinical staff ensure resident comfort (e.g., sitting position, hydration).
• Assist with personal care according to state regulatory guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
