Position Overview

Job Summary

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for providing general non-certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and may be directed by supervisors.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping and laundry services, including trash removal and making/changing unoccupied beds.
• Assist with meal service, including transportation of residents, tray delivery, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Answer resident call lights promptly and check on residents unable to call for help.
• Assist with 1:1 observations as assigned.
• Maintain communication with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse regarding resident condition, concerns, and grievances.
• Provide excellent customer service, companionship, and engagement in activities.
• Assist clinical staff to make residents comfortable (e.g., check sitting position, hydration).
• Assist with personal care responsibilities according to state guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
