Position Overview

Job Summary

The Resident Care Associate (RCA) provides general non-certified routine services following established procedures under supervision.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Assist with housekeeping and laundry, including trash removal and bed changes.
2. Support meal service, including resident transportation, tray delivery, and ensuring a quality dining experience.
3. Respond promptly to resident call lights.
4. Check on residents unable to call for help regularly.
5. Assist with 1:1 observations as assigned.
6. Communicate with Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse regarding resident condition changes, concerns, and grievances.
7. Provide excellent customer service, companionship, and engagement in activities.
8. Help clinical staff ensure residents' comfort, such as position checks and hydration.
9. Assist with personal care responsibilities per state guidelines.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
