Duties for a Caregiver/CNA/Home Health Aid

• Personal Health Care
• Light Housekeeping
• Simple Meal Preparation
• Assistance with Bathing & Grooming

Requirements

• Assist clients with dressing, feeding, hair care, mouth care, shaving (electric or safety razor only), nail care (excluding nail trimming), positioning, toileting, and transfers.
• Physically able to push and pull a client weighing at least 100 pounds.
• Capable of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to move in tight spaces and between furniture.
• Perform duties requiring standing, walking, squatting, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, twisting, sitting, reaching.
• Perform physical functions continuously for up to an hour without rest.
• Active member of the Family Care Safety Registry.
• Provide 2 references.
• Pass background checks upon hire and during employment.
• Complete required training.
• Have vehicle insurance and reliable transportation.
• Flexible to work in various client homes regularly.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with the branch office weekly.
