Job summary

ComForCare Milford is seeking caring individuals to support clients in their own homes, helping with daily activities and personal care. You will assist with mobility, meals, and household tasks while providing compassionate companionship.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED; CNA/HHA certification is preferred. Access to reliable transportation and a passion for serving others are essential, with COVID precautions in place for safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/HHA certification preferred or required where applicable.
• Reliable transportation to client locations.
• Previous caregiving experience is a bonus.
• Commitment to compassionate, client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent at home.
• Provide assistance with personal care including grooming and bathing.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Assist with meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Help manage household needs and errands as needed.
• Provide companionship and respite services for families.

What we’re looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• [If Applicable] A state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
• [optional] Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver in homes or senior communities is a bonus.
