Cornerstone Assisted Living in Plymouth, MN, is looking for dedicated Caregivers to join our team. You will provide person-centered care, assist with ADLs and medications, and support residents with sensitivity and respect.

We welcome CNAs, HHAs, or PCAs, with training available for the right candidate. Evening and day shifts, full-time or part-time, with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident well-being and alert supervisor to changes.

As a Caregiver at Cornerstone, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being.You’ll work closely with the care team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, and committed to providing excellent care. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a heart for serving seniors.

Position Type : Full-Time or Part-Time

Shifts Available:
Days 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Evenings: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Wage Range: $17.60 - $20.60 / depending on experience

Shift Differential:
Evenings: $1.25 per hour

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs) which may include bathing/showering, shampooing of hair, fingernail and foot care and medication administration.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver Qualifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience preferred but not required.
• Med Passing experience strongly preferred, but not required.
• Apassion for geriatric care.
• Strong communication skills including the ability to read, write and speak Englishto interact with residents and staff.
• Must be able to remain alert and awake during scheduled shift hours to ensure resident safety.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.
