Job summary

Emerald Crest of Shakopee, a Cassia community, is hiring compassionate Caregivers (CNAs, HHAs or PCAs) to join our memory care team in Shakopee, MN. This role provides person-centered care to residents, supporting them with ADLs and promoting dignity and independence in a home-like setting.

Position Type: Part-Time. Shifts include Days 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Evenings 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM; Pay: $20.00–$24.38 per hour depending on experience. Location: 1855 10th Avenue West, Shakopee, MN 55379.

Qualifications

• Needs to have at least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver (HHA, PCA, or CNA).
• A passion for geriatric care.
• Strong interpersonal and social skills are vital.
• Good customer service instincts will be important when interacting with family and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living and personal care such as shampooing hair, showering/bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Aid in programming and activities with residents.
• Monitor safety and well-being of clients.
• Prepare meals.
• Light housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Emerald Crest offers a specialized assisted living setting for seniors with Alzheimer's and dementia-related conditions. This communal home setting provides a natural, home-like setting to encourage engagement and reduces isolation among residents.
