Meadowview of Davenport, conveniently located in the heart of the Quad Cities, is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team in Davenport, IA. This entry-level position includes on-the-job training to prepare you for success in a healthcare setting.

You will clean resident rooms, restrooms, day rooms, and other common areas, with a compassionate, positive attitude focused on resident comfort and safety. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must have full mobility.
• Compassionate, motivated, and a self-starter.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with seniors or vulnerable adults preferred but not required.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Display courtesy and respect for residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain facilities and common areas.
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of common areas/restrooms.
• Clean and light housekeeping in resident apartments as requested.
• Clean, vacuum, mop, and dispose of waste in assigned areas.
• Maintain equipment, custodial closet, and cart in a clean orderly fashion.
• Sanitation of Assisted Living Facilities.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

As a Housekeeper at Meadowview of Davenport, you will clean resident rooms, restrooms, day rooms, and other common areas, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing, and trash removal. Our ideal candidate displays a compassionate, positive attitude, and strives for personal excellence.

Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain facilities and common areas.
• Daily cleaning and sanitizing of common areas/restrooms.
• Clean and perform light housekeeping in resident apartments as requested.
• Clean, vacuum, mop, and disposeof waste in assigned areas.
• Maintainequipment, custodial closet, and cart in a clean/orderly fashion.
• Sanitation of Assisted Living Facilities.
