Job summary

Elim Shores is seeking a Temporary Caregiver (CNA, HHA, or PCA) to support residents at our Eden Prairie, MN location through December. The role offers meaningful work helping older adults with daily living activities and health monitoring.

Training is provided; caregiving experience is a plus. Wage ranges from $17.85 to $20.82 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunities to transition to full-time.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current MN Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar setting a plus.
• A genuine desire to work with our elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Elim Shores, a Cassia community, is hiring a Temporary Caregiver (CNA, HHA, or PCA) to join our team through December. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience, earn extra income, or make a positive impact in the lives of older adults while working in a supportive and welcoming environment.

As a Caregiver at Elim Shores, you will assist residents with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, shampooing, and medication administration, while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. The ideal candidate is caring, dependable, and team-oriented, with a genuine desire to support older adults. Caregiving experience is a plus, but we provide training for those eager to learn.

Temporary thru December (could potentially turn into FT)

Shift

• Days: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm

Wage Range

$17.85 - $20.82 /hour depending on experience
