Job summary

Elim Shores, a Cassia community in Eden Prairie, MN, is hiring Caregivers to provide daily living support and nursing-related services to residents. You will work with a team of caregivers and nurses to promote independence, dignity, and well-being for older adults.

The position offers full-time or part-time hours, with night shifts from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. Wage range is $16.92–$20.30 per hour, depending on experience, and benefits are available through Cassia.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current MN Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A genuine desire to work with our elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per care plan.
• Take and record vitals and report changes to the RN.
• Document services on computerized charting systems.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities and medications as needed.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the supervisor.

As aCaregiveratElim Shores, you will provide each resident with routine daily nursing care and services following guidelines and regulations. You will work beside other Caregivers & Nurses to assist our residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. Shifts Available:

Nights: 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

Wage Range:

$16.92 - $20.30 per hour depending on experience

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting systems.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Pass medications.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
