Job summary

Elim Shores, a Cassia community, is seeking a Caregiver (CNA, HHA, or PCA) to join our team in Eden Prairie, MN. This on-call role focuses on supporting residents with daily living activities in a fun, family-like atmosphere.

You’ll assist with ADLs, monitor health, document care, and work with a supportive RN and team. Training is provided; caregiving experience is a plus. Competitive pay and a low-turnover workplace await.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with ADLs (bathing, grooming) and medication administration.
• Take and record vital signs; report changes to RN.
• Document services on computerized charting system.
• Assist with prescribed program activities.
• Observe residents and report changes to supervisor.
• Assist with personal care (shampooing, showering, nails care) and other tasks as needed.

Elim Shores, a Cassia community, is hiring a Caregiver (CNA, HHA, or PCA) to join our team.

As a Caregiver at Elim Shores, you will assist residents with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, shampooing, and medication administration, while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. The ideal candidate is caring, dependable, and team-oriented, with a genuine desire to support older adults. Caregiving experience is a plus, but we provide training for those eager to learn.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Assist residents with prescribed program activities.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current MN Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar setting a plus.
• A genuine desire to work with our elderly population.
