Job summary

Milaca Elim Meadows Assisted Living, a Cassia senior community, is hiring Caregivers to provide compassionate personal care to residents in Milaca, Minnesota. This part-time role offers a varied schedule with weekend hours and competitive pay based on experience.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, document care, and report changes to the RN. Join a team focused on respectful, high-quality care for seniors.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Strong interest in healthcare.
• Computer skills, read/write and communicate clearly.
• Genuine desire to work with our elderly population.

Responsibilities

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of independence while assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the RN per care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed; report changes to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report changes in physical or emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with personal care which may include shampooing, bathing, and medication administration.
• Complete light housekeeping duties.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

As a Caregiverat Milaca Elim Meadows Assisted Living, you will provide personal care and supportive services to residents to maintain their comfort and safety. This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others.

Position Type

Part-Time, 54 hours per pay period, working a varying schedule including every other weekend

Shift Available

Week 1

• Mon 12:30 - 8:30PM
• Tues 6:30AM - 3:00PM
• Wed 12:30 - 8:30PM
• Sat 6:30AM - 3:00PM

Week 2

• Sun 6:30AM - 3:00PM
• Tues 12:30 - 8:30PM
• Wed 12:30 - 8:30PM

Wage Range

$18.40 to $21.66 / hour depending on experience.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, and medication administration.
• Complete light housekeeping duties.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Strong interest in working in healthcare.
• Computer skills, ability to read, write and communicate clearly, self-motivated.
• A genuine desire to work with our elderly population.
