Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in West Union, SC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / CNA to provide one-to-one in-home care for a bedbound client, focusing on dignity and daily living activities.

You'll assist with personal care, light housekeeping, and dialysis preparation during evening shifts (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM) while coordinating with the client's family. CNA certification preferred, but not required. This role offers competitive pay and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• At least 3 months caregiving experience in a home care setting.

Responsibilities

About This Client & Case:

• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Client: Bedbound adult male who requires hands-on assistance with personal care and daily activities
• Personal Care: Assist with sponge bathing, changing clothing as needed, dressing, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Dialysis Preparation: Help the client get dressed and prepared the evening before his dialysis appointment the following day
• Light Housekeeping: Provide light housekeeping to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
• Caregiver Support: Work closely with the client's wife to provide hands-on care and support with his evening routine

As a Caregiver / CNA, you’ll need:

• Minimum 3 months of caregiving experience (personal or professional) in a home care setting
• Comfort and experience providing hands-on personal care for a bedbound client
• Ability to safely assist with bathing, dressing, changing, and other personal care needs
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the assignment and provide hands‑on assistance as needed
• CNA certification preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Reliable transportation and insurance
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
