Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / CNA in Westminster, SC to support a larger adult male client with mobility needs. The role requires 20+ hours weekly, hands-on care, and reliable transport. CNA certification is preferred but not required, with paid travel time between visits and cell phone reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility safety using a walker.
• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and ADLs.
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and remind about medications.
• Offer companionship and engage the client in activities they enjoy.

About This Client & Case:

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM


• Client: Larger adult male who uses a walker and requires hands-on assistance with mobility and daily activities


• Mobility & Safety: Assist with ambulation, transfers, and safely navigating the home using a walker


• Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)


• Daily Support: Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and engagement in activities the client enjoys


• Physical Requirements: Must be comfortable and physically capable of providing hands-on mobility assistance to a larger individual

As a Caregiver / CNA, you’ll need:

• Minimum 3 months ofcaregiving experience (personal or professional) in a home care setting

• Comfort and experience with mobility assistance, ambulation, and transfers


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach
