Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / CNA to support clients at home. You will assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, shopping, and companionship while promoting independence and safety.

The role emphasizes empathy, person-centered care, and strong communication. A minimum 3 months of caregiving experience and 20+ hours weekly commitment are expected; CNA certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of caregiving experience (personal or professional) in a home care setting.
• Commitment to a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• CNA certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable transportation and insurance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and companionship.
• Support mobility and safety, including ambulation assistance, transfers, and ADLs.
• Provide medication reminders, observe and document health conditions, and promptly report any concerns.
• Create meaningful moments by engaging clients in activities they enjoy - like reading, puzzles, and hobbies tailored to their interests.

As a Caregiver / CNA with Interim, you'll enjoy:
