Job summary

SeaStar Senior Services LLC in Portland, Oregon is hiring certified nursing assistants and caregivers to join a growing in-home care and care management team. You will provide home care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and assist with personal care, with emphasis on compassionate service.

We offer thorough onboarding with background checks, drug screening, paid training, and nurse evaluation before client placement. Competitive pay from $22 to $24 per hour, plus PTO and medical insurance.

Qualifications

• CNA preferred or equivalent experience with seniors.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation required.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain it.
• Strong observation and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide home care to clients in their own homes.
• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands.
• Social interaction with clients through activities and reading.
• Personal care assistance as needed.
• Medication administration as assigned.

SeaStar Senior Services is a professional in-home care and care management company in Portland, Oregon. We provide home care, medical and social outings, and care management for seniors and vulnerable adults in Portland and the surrounding towns. We are looking for professional* certified nursing assistants and caregivers who want to be part of a new company that is focused on providing quality, compassionate care to our clients.

Duties

• Provide home care to clients living in their own homes
• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands
• Social interaction with the clients - puzzles, games, reading
• Personal care, depending on assigned client needs
• Medication administration, depending on assigned client needs

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA preferred
• Experience working with seniors and adults with disabilities
• CPR certified or able to obtain
• Good observational and writing skills
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Must have a smart phone for clocking in and out and documentation
• Driver's license, car, and clean driving record required

Compensation

• Pay is $22 to $24 an hour depending on experience, education, and assigned client
• PTO leave
• Medication and annual training
• $200 bonus at 90 days for CNA's
