Village Caregiving seeks a compassionate in-home caregiver/CNA to assist clients in McLeansboro, IL and surrounding areas. You will travel to client homes to provide personal care, companionship, and daily living support, with flexible part-time hours to fit your schedule.

Responsibilities include hygiene, mobility assistance, meals, light housekeeping, and safety reporting. Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds required; CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• CNA/SRNA/HHA training preferred but not required.
• Experience in healthcare or in-home care preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist mobility.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Available for nights and/or weekends.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing, meals).
• Offer companionship and monitor client well-being.
• Remind and assist with prescribed medications as needed.
• Assist with mobility, doctor visits, and errands.
• Plan and prepare meals; assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal serving tasks.
• Report incidents promptly and respond to emergencies.
• Support daily living activities and safety standards.

Village Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, in-home caregiver/CNA to assist clients with their daily activities in the comfort of their own home. The position will require Caregivers traveling to and from the client(s) home in and around McLeansboro, IL

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating

• Companionship

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation

• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, errands, walks etc.)

• Plan and prepare meals

• Assist with physical therapy exercise

• Perform light housekeeping duties

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

• Use common sense principals

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

• Timeliness and self-discipline

• Availability to meet client needs as requested

• Dependability

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred)

• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

• Supportive and compassionate

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience as a Caregiver (preferred)

• CNA/SRNA/HHA or completion of a CNA Program (preferred)

• Take pride in providing high quality care

• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)

$17.50 - $18.50 per Hour
