Village Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, dedicated in-home caregiver/CNA to assist clients with daily activities in the comfort of their own home in and around Casey, IL.

The role involves driving to client homes, providing personal care, companionship, meal planning, mobility support, and light housekeeping, with a focus on safety and reliability. Prior healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to learn new skills.
• Be timely, self-disciplined, and dependable to meet client needs.
• Prior healthcare/in-home care experience is preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to assist with ambulation, mobility, meals, and daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance and support daily activities.
• Offer companionship and monitor health needs.
• Remind and assist with prescribed medications as needed.
• Assist with mobility, doctor visits, and errands.
• Plan and prepare meals and assist with exercises.
• Perform light housekeeping and report incidents promptly.
• Support daily living activities and ensure safety.
• Use common sense and respond to emergencies quickly.

Village Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, in-home caregiver/CNA to assist clients with their daily activities in the comfort of their own home. The position will require Caregivers traveling to and from the client(s) home in and around Casey, IL

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating

• Companionship

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation

• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, errands, walks etc.)

• Plan and prepare meals

• Assist with physical therapy exercise

• Perform light housekeeping duties

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

• Use common sense principals

Qualifications

• Availability to meet client needs as requested

• Dependability

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred)

• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

• Supportive and compassionate

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience as a Caregiver (preferred)

• CNA/SRNA/HHA or completion of a CNA Program (preferred)

• Take pride in providing high quality care

• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)

$17.50- $19.50 per Hour
