Village Caregiving - Green Bay is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver/CNA to assist clients with daily activities in their own homes around Casey, IL. The role emphasizes one-on-one care, personal hygiene, mobility support, meals, and medication reminders, with travel to client locations in the Casey area.

Flexible part-time or full-time schedules are available, no experience required, with benefits for part- and full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. CNA/HHAs preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Remind and assist with prescribed medications.
• Assist with mobility and accompany to appointments.
• Plan and prepare meals, assist with PT exercises.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Report incidents promptly and handle emergencies.

Village Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, in-home caregiver/CNA to assist clients with their daily activities in the comfort of their own home. The position will require Caregivers traveling to and from the client(s) home in and around Casey, IL

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating

• Companionship

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation

• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, errands, walks etc.)

• Plan and prepare meals

• Assist with physical therapy exercise

• Perform light housekeeping duties

• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

• Use common sense principals

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

• Availability to meet client needs as requested

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner

• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends

• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (preferred)

• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards

• Take pride in providing high quality care

• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)

$17.50- $19.50 per Hour
