Bickford Senior Living in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Caregiver Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, meals, and social engagement, while preserving dignity and encouraging a joyful life.

This on-site role offers full-time or part-time hours with a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, prescription savings, and daily pay options. CPR and First Aid certification are required or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) and willingness to obtain required CNA training.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and provide compassionate care to residents, including those with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Know the residents you serve and provide care based on their service plans.
• Assist in daily living activities, meals, and social engagement.
• Communicate with branch clinical leadership when a resident's needs change.
• Demonstrate knowledge of dementia care approaches.
