Responsibilities

• Provide direct care support to members with disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene, following individual service plans. Be comfortable using mobility devices and practicing safe transfer and ambulation techniques.
• Teach and guide members in achieving their hopes, dreams, goals, and objectives through self-direction, decision-making, and goal setting.
• Complete all applicable documentation related to assigned tasks.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming home environment by performing housekeeping tasks and laundry.
• Prepare and serve meals following nutritional guidelines, considering individual dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Assist and escort members during social and recreational activities, providing necessary physical and other assistance.
