Job summary

Senior Helpers Kerrville is hiring a Caregiver Ambassador to support new caregivers during their first 90 days and assist with onboarding and retention efforts. The role emphasizes connection, guidance, and consistent communication for new team members settling into their positions.

The Ambassador will work within our Kerrville program, coordinating with the office to identify training needs, document conversations, and contribute to a positive caregiver experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver, HHA, or CNA preferred.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive, inspiring resource for new caregivers.
• Facilitate communication between the office and new caregivers.
• Place weekly support calls and document each conversation.
• Listen actively, ask follow-up questions, and maintain a positive tone.
• Identify training or upskilling needs and communicate them to the office.
• Share strengths and retention risks with leadership.
