Job summary

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care to older adults. You will offer companionship, assist with daily living activities, and help clients maintain independence and dignity in their homes.

The role includes light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and ensuring safety, with flexible scheduling to meet client needs. Prior caregiving experience and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or home care experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, with insurance if required for client transport.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, state certification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.
