Job summary

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist older adults in thriving safely at home. You will provide essential non-medical support, companionship, personal care, and light housekeeping to preserve independence and dignity.

Flexible scheduling (days, evenings, weekends, overnights) and a supportive, values‑driven team environment. Applicants should have a HS diploma/GED and be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving or home care is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, insurance if required for client transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.
