Job summary

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care for older adults, helping them stay independent and safe at home. You will offer companionship, assistance with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transport as needed, with flexible scheduling.

Prior caregiving experience and a high school diploma or GED are preferred; state certification/license if applicable; valid driver’s license and reliable

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving, home care, or related field experience preferred.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required for client transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medications.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.

Job Summary

• As a caregiver, you will provide essential non-medical assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity. The role of a caregiver includes companionship, personal care support, assistance with daily living activities, and light housekeeping.
