Activity Assistant Summary:

Supports the Life Enrichment Director in planning, coordinating, and facilitating recreational activities for residents. Reports to the Director.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and evaluating resident activities
• Encourage resident participation
• Escort residents on off-site activities
• Register residents for trips and programs
• Conduct activities as directed
• Maintain activity supplies and procure outside items as needed
• Survey residents to assess interests and satisfaction
• Observe residents and communicate with staff
• Follow budget guidelines
• Attend training and staff meetings
• Maintain a safe environment
• Maintain professionalism with residents, visitors, and staff
• Follow all policies and perform additional duties as assigned
