Job summary

Synergy Senior Management is seeking compassionate 2nd shift caregivers to join our growing team. The right candidate will provide personal hygiene assistance, help with prescribed medications and mobility, and support residents with daily living activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care (min 1 year).
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• Caregiver mindset: supportive and compassionate.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; CNA/HHA experience preferred.

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for residents (showering, bathing, dressing, eating).
• Assist with prescribed medications and ambulation.
• Support mobility to doctor’s appointments, walks, and daily activities.
• Plan and prepare meals for residents.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete shopping or accompany residents to run errands.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
• Report unusual incidents and act promptly in emergencies.
• Assist with meals and other daily living tasks as required.

We are looking for compassionate 2nd shift caregivers to join our growing team. The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Plan and prepare meals
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
• Take pride in providing high quality care
• Hoyer Lift Experience (specific to client)
