Job summary

Synergy Senior Management is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/CNA to join our team. You will provide personal care and support to residents in a one-on-one setting, with an emphasis on dignity and safety.

Responsibilities include hygiene assistance, medication support, mobility aid, and assistance with meals and daily activities. We offer full-time benefits and opportunities for growth in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care is preferred (minimum 1 year).
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• Desire to work in a one-on-one setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding).
• Assist residents with prescribed medications and ambulation.
• Support mobility around the facility or during appointments.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises as directed.
• Complete shopping or accompany residents to run errands.
• Report unusual incidents and respond quickly in emergencies.
• Assist with meals and related daily living tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help residents take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the facility or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standard
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experienc as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA
