Job summary

The Residence at Presque Isle Bay, an Integracare community in Erie, PA, is hiring Caregivers and CNAs for the 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). The role provides essential daily support, personal care, and companionship to our senior residents, helping them start their day with dignity and comfort.

We offer both full-time and part-time options, with competitive pay: $15.60/hr for Caregiver and $16.60/hr for CNA (includes CNA differential), plus tenure-based and attendance-based raises.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification: PA CNA license required to receive the $16.60/hr tier (non-certified caregivers at $15.60/hr).
• Experience: Prior senior living, personal care, or caregiving preferred; training provided.
• Skills: Strong communication, empathy, reliability, and passion for serving older adults.
• Requirements: Pass pre-employment background checks and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, grooming and mobility.
• Assist with morning meal distribution and support during breakfast and lunch service.
• Answer call lights promptly and according to community standards.
• Maintain clear documentation of care provided and report changes to nursing staff.
• Foster a warm, safe, respectful, and engaging community for residents and staff.

Position Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Available

Pay Rates

• Caregiver / Resident Assistant: $15.60 / hour
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): $16.60 / hour (includes $1.00/hr CNA differential)

Growth & Incentive Programs

• Tenure-Based Raise Program: Earn an additional $2.00 / hour raise after your first year of service!
• Perfect Attendance Incentive: Earn an additional $1.00 / hour raise every year for maintaining perfect attendance.

Position Overview

The Residence at Presque Isle Bay, an Integracare community, is seeking compassionate, dependable Caregivers and CNAs to join our 1st shift team! In this role, you will provide essential daily support, personal care, and meaningful companionship to our senior residents, helping them start their day with dignity and comfort.

Available Schedules

• Full-Time: 5 days per week (40 hours/week) with rotating weekend coverage.
• Part-Time: 3 days per week (24 hours/week) with rotating weekend coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with morning activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Assist with morning meal distribution and support residents during breakfast and lunch service.
• Answer resident call lights promptly and attentively in accordance with our community standards.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of care provided and report any changes in resident condition to line nursing staff.
• Foster a warm, safe, respectful, and engaging community environment for all residents and team members.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification: Current PA CNA license required to receive the $16.60/hr tier. (Non-certified Caregivers are fully welcome to apply at the $15.60/hr tier).
• Experience: Prior experience in senior living, personal care, or caregiving preferred, but enthusiastic candidates with a strong work ethic are fully welcome to apply—we provide comprehensive training!
• Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, reliability, and a true passion for serving older adults.
• Requirements: Must pass standard pre-employment background checks and health screenings.
