Job summary

Bell Tower Residence in Merrill, WI is hiring a compassionate Caregiver (PCW) or CNA to provide hands-on daily living support, including personal care, medication assistance, meals, and mobility, while promoting resident dignity.

The role includes monitoring well-being, communicating changes to the care team, and helping maintain a safe, engaging residential environment. Flexible scheduling and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Preferred: Prior experience as a Caregiver or CNA in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs all services required of a CNA including providing nursing and nursing‑related services to individuals with cognitive impairments.
• Initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Implements plan of care based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs.
• Provides direct patient/resident care and reports condition and changes to RN or LPN.
• Demonstrates knowledge of, and respect for the rights, dignity and individuality of each resident in all interactions.
• Actively maintains the confidentiality of resident and facility information.
• Demonstrates respect for co‑workers and responds to needs of residents by complying with facility policies on attendance and punctuality. Arrives and begins work on time.
• Has working knowledge and ability to comply with facility policies and procedures for workplace safety including infection control procedures, application of universal precautions for bloodborne pathogens, use of personal protective equipment and handling of hazardous materials.
• Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks.
• Document results of patient/resident care within established policies, procedures and scope of practice.

Schedule: Days (6:00am-2:00pm) | PMs ( 2:00pm-10:00pm) | NOCs (10:00pm – 6:00am) - Every other weekend | Rotating Holidays - we want to work with your schedule

Job Summary:

A Caregiver (PCW) or CNA at Bell Tower Residence is compassionate and dependable.
