Wellington Place at Whiting in Stevens Point, Wisconsin is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support residents with daily living activities, mobility, meal support, and personal care, while promoting dignity. This on-site role includes day, evening, and night shifts with every-other-weekend scheduling and rotating holidays.

You will monitor resident well-being, communicate changes to the care team, and help create a safe, engaging environment that respects residents and their independence.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Must maintain a caring attitude towards residents.
• Reliable transportation to the facility.
• Prior caregiving or CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine resident care.
• Observe residents and alert staff to changes.
• Offer conversation and companionship.
• Assist with mobility via wheelchair or walker.
• Assist with toileting, bathing, dressing and hygiene.
• Assist with feeding.
• Perform light cleaning & linen changes.
• Document results of patient/resident care within established policies, procedures and scope of practice.

Job Summary:

A Caregiver at Wellington Place at Whiting is compassionate and dependable. In this role, you will provide hands-on support with daily living activities, including personal care, meal support, and mobility, while promoting resident dignity and independence. Caregivers also monitor resident well-being, communicate changes to the care team, and help create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals in a residential setting.

Compensation:

• $14.00 - $17.00 per hour dependent on experience
• $.50per hour shift differential for PM Shift
• $1.00 per hour shift differential for NOC Shift

Required:

• Must always maintain a caring attitude towards residents and be capable of good judgment in all situations.
• Must be 16 years or older
• Compassionate, self-motivated individua
• Must have transportation to and from the facility

Preferred:

• Prior experience as a Caregiver or CNA in a long-term care setting
