Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a compassionate Senior Living Caregiver for Truewood by Merrill in Georgetown, TX. The 6am–2pm shift supports residents with daily living activities in a caring, dignified environment that values each person's independence and well being.

You will assist with dressing, bathing, meals, medication management as allowed by state, and daily progress notes. Our team offers competitive pay, medical/dental/vision benefits, paid time off, 401(k) with employer match, tuition

Qualifications

• Current caregiver certification or the ability to obtain it as required by state guidelines.
• CNA license or two years caregiver experience.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medications as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports.
• Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents.

Our Caregivers:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
