Job summary

Care Finders, Inc. in Connecticut is seeking caring individuals to provide in‑home support to clients in the Winsted area.

You will offer companionship, help with daily activities, and ensure a safe, comfortable home environment while building meaningful relationships with clients and their families. Starting pay is $16.94 per hour with the potential for extra earnings through the Caregiver Rewards Program.

Qualifications

• Availability in Winsted and surrounding areas.
• Availability to work day shifts, weekdays and/or weekends.
• Reliable transportation to and from client's location.
• Fluent in English; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Frequent standing and walking; assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting.
• Help with daily care like bathing, dressing, toileting, and meals.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.
• Communicate concerns and elevate safety issues as needed.
• Respect diverse client personalities while maintaining communication and professionalism.
• Be a friendly face and a steady presence.
