Job summary

Lakeside Generations Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is seeking Caregivers to support residents with compassionate care and independence. The role includes evenings and nights on a rotating schedule, with a $500 bonus for night shifts and a pathway through Free Advanced Caregiver Training.

Join our team and help sustain high standards of nursing services, while working in a friendly, close-knit setting in Dassel, MN.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Prior experience as a Home Health Aide, Personal Care Attendant, or CNA preferred. We'll train you!

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain independence with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with bathing, shampooing, nails, and medication administration.
• Wash resident clothing, make beds, and clean the environment.
• Document services on the charting system and report changes to supervisor.
• Perform delegated nursing/therapy procedures and assist with transfers or range of motion.

As a Caregiverat Lakeside Generation Assisted Living, you will help maintain the highest standards in delivering nursing services to our residents. This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others. We are seeking individuals who are team players and are also comfortable working independently.

Position Type:Part-Time, working a varying schedule including rotational weekends and holidays

Shift Available:

Evenings 2:15 PM - 10:15 PM (Every other weekend Friday - Sunday)

Nights 10:00 PM - 6:15 AM

Wage Range: $17.50 - $23.55 /hour depending on experience

Shift Differential:

Evening $1.00

Nights $2.00

Bonus:

$500 for Night Shift

Location: 439 William Avenue East, Dassel MN 55325

Caregiverresponsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Wash resident clothing, make beds, and clean the general environment.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Perform delegated nursing or therapy procedures.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with body positioning, transfers, therapeutic exercises, active or passive range of motion.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Caregiver Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Home Health Aide, Personal Care Attendant, or CNA preferred. We'll train you!
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Standing and walking most of the time.
