Job summary

NuCare Senior Living in Waunakee, WI is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide high-quality, resident-centered care.

This includes assistance with personal care, medication support (if delegated), household tasks, and activity engagement. The Caregiver plays a key role in fostering a safe, respectful, and homelike environment that promotes resident independence, dignity, and quality of life.---**Essential Duties & Responsibilities*** Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.* Support residents with meals, hydration, and dining assistance.* Provide companionship and encourage participation in social and recreational activities.* Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, room organization, and upkeep of common living areas.* Monitor residents' well-being and promptly report changes in condition or behavior.* Administer medications and perform delegated health-related services, when authorized and trained under RN supervision.* Maintain accurate documentation and resident care records.* Follow infection control, confidentiality, and resident rights policies.* Attend required training sessions and staff meetings.* Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.## Qualifications**Required:*** At least 18 years of age.* High school diploma or equivalent.* Ability to pass a Wisconsin caregiver background check.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.**Preferred:*** Previous caregiving, direct care, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare experience.* CNA certification and/or CBRF training.* Medication administration experience.**Physical Requirements*** Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and assist residents throughout the shift.* Ability to lift, push, pull, and transfer up to 50 pounds.* Comfortable working in a residential healthcare environment, including exposure to cleaning products and bodily fluids.* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
