Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is hiring caregivers to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. You will follow individualized care plans, help with daily living activities, transport clients, and offer companionship in a supportive home-care setting.

Flexible schedules include weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options. A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a background check are required; you’ll receive training and access to benefits as part of a caring team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client’s individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client’s individualized Plan of Care

What You’ll Need

• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus
