Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut seeks compassionate caregiver to provide non-medical home care following each client’s Plan of Care. You’ll transport clients to appointments and assist with daily tasks.

Flexible scheduling, opportunities for live-in shifts, and benefits including PTO, holiday pay, medical/dental coverage, 401(k) and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle are required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client’s individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
