Job summary

ComForCare is seeking caregivers to provide essential in-home care, companionship, and support to clients in Wisconsin. You’ll help clients stay independent, assist with daily activities, and ensure safety in the home.

We offer flexible shifts, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement. A CPR/First Aid certification, CNA license, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CNA license required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate mobility devices.
• Experience with Hoyer lifts is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities to promote independence.
• Provide personal care support and companionship.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Plan, prepare, and assist with meals as needed.
• Manage household tasks related to client care.
• Offer respite and companionship to families.
• Work flexible shifts as needed.

What we are looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Valid CNA License
• Current CPR and First aid certificate
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift minimum 50 lbs. and perform necessary movements
• Experience with Hoyer lift and other mobility assistance devices
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Willing to work flexible shifts

Shifts:

• PRN shifts options
• 8 hour Morning Shift
• 8 hour Afternoon Shift
• 8 hour Evening Shift

Salary Range:

• $15.00 - $19.00 per hour based on experience
