Job summary

ComForCare Home Care in Keller, TX is seeking Caregivers to provide companionship, personal care, mobility assistance, and home support to clients who wish to live independently at home.

We offer flexible shifts, training and development, and performance-based bonuses. A CNA license or equivalent is preferred, valid CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Valid CNA license is a plus but not required.
• Experience with at-home caregiving or senior communities is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities to help them remain in their homes.
• Provide personal care and mobility assistance.
• Support transfers and range-of-motion exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals as needed for client nutrition.
• Help manage household tasks and errands.
• Offer companionship and respite services to families.
• Adhere to the client Plan of Care and maintain accurate records.

What we are looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Valid CNA License
• Current CPR and First aid certificate
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift minimum 50 lbs. and perform necessary movements
• Experience with Hoyer lift and other mobility assistance devices
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Willing to work flexible shifts

Shifts:

• PRN - 12 hour Morning shift

Salary Range:

• $15.00 per hour for caregivers who hold current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• $16.00–$17.00 per hour for caregivers with at least two years of caregiving experience.
• $18.00–$19.00 per hour for caregivers who are Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
