Job summary

ComForCare Home Care seeks compassionate caregivers to help clients stay independent at home. You will provide personal care, mobility support, meal preparation, and companionship, while following a written care plan.

Prior home care or senior care experience is preferred, and flexibility across shifts is expected. Applicants must have a valid CNA license, CPR/First Aid, a driver’s license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA license.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience assisting clients with mobility and daily living activities.
• Ability to read and follow a written Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily activities to promote independence.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals; manage meals according to dietary needs.
• Manage household tasks related to the client’s comfort and safety.
• Provide companionship and respite services for families.
• Commit to flexible shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings.

What we are looking for:

• A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• Valid CNA License
• Current CPR and First aid certificate
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift minimum 50 lbs. and perform necessary movements
• Experience with Hoyer lift and other mobility assistance devices
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care/Aide Care Plan
• Previous experience as an at home caregiver or in senior communities is a bonus.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
• Provide assistance with personal care.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
• Properly manage household needs.
• Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
• Willing to work flexible shifts

Shifts:

• 8 hour Morning Shift
• 8 hour Afternoon shift
• 8 Hour Evening Shift

Salary Range:

• $15.00 - $19.00 per hour based on experience
