Job summary

Home Instead is seeking caring and compassionate Care Professionals to support aging adults at their homes in Seneca County and surrounding communities. This role provides non-medical services to help clients live independently with dignity and respect.

The position includes training, ongoing support, and opportunities to grow within a supportive team dedicated to improving quality of life for clients and their families.

Qualifications

• Caring and compassionate attitude toward aging adults.
• Must pass criminal background check and motor vehicle check.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide social and cognitive stimulation for clients.
• Assist with nutrition and meal planning/preparation.
• Remind and assist with medications and appointments.
• Provide Alzheimer's/Dementia care and home safety.
• Communicate with clients in a friendly and respectful manner.

Primary responsibilities and qualifications include but are not limited to: social/cognitive stimulation, nutrition and meal planning/preparation, medication/appointment reminders, Alzheimer's/Dementia Care, ability to care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect, ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner, complete a criminal background check that includes a motor vehicle check, drug screen, possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

Successful candidates possess the ability to work independently while following established policy and procedures set forth by the Administrative Office.
