Job summary

Home Instead seeks caring Care Professionals to support aging adults in Ontario County and surrounding communities. The role focuses on non-medical services to help clients remain at home with dignity and comfort.

Responsibilities include social/cognitive activities, nutrition planning, medication reminders, and dementia care, with emphasis on respectful communication and independent work within established policies. Competitive pay and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Social/cognitive stimulation and nutrition/meal planning.
• Medication/appointment reminders and dementia care.
• Respectful care for aging adults and property.
• Friendly, congenial communication with clients.
• Criminal background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen.
• Valid driverâs license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently per office policies.

Primary responsibilities and qualifications include but are not limited to: social/cognitive stimulation, nutrition and meal planning/preparation, medication/appointment reminders, Alzheimer's/Dementia Care, ability to care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect, ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner, complete a criminal background check that includes a motor vehicle check, drug screen, possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

Successful candidates possess the ability to work independently while following established policy and procedures set forth by the Administrative Office.
