Job summary

Home Instead in Brighton, Michigan is looking for caring and compassionate caregivers to improve the lives of aging adults in our community. As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical services that help seniors live with dignity and compassion at home.

Qualifications

Caregiver (Care Professional)

Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate caregivers to enhance the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides non‑medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Locations

Cities include: Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Dexter, Chelsea, Saline, Brighton, Howell, Hartland, South Lyon (Livingston County), and more.

Duties of Caregivers (Care Pros)

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer's care

No previous experience necessary – skills training provided by Home Instead.

Pay & Schedules

We have a variety of shifts available with competitive pay and bonuses. Starting rate is anywhere from $16.00 per hour up to $18.00. We work with employees to meet full‑time or part‑time expectations based on availability of hours. Services are provided through Washtenaw and Livingston counties.
