Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut seeks compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care per each client's Plan of Care. You will transport clients, assist with daily tasks, and become a steady source of companionship.

We offer flexible scheduling (Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, Live-In), competitive hourly pay with direct deposit, benefits including medical, dental, and 401(k), and ongoing training. Prior caregiving experience is valued, and Open availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide non-medical home care per client Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Assist with light housekeeping, meals, errands, and shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care
• Transport clients to appointments and activities
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support
• Document care and provide reminders as directed
