Job summary

Companions & Homemakers in Connecticut seeks compassionate non-medical home care aides. You will follow each client's Plan of Care, provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and help with light housekeeping and transportation.

Flexible scheduling includes weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in options. A valid driver's license and vehicle help with mobility; prior caregiver experience is a plus. Join a supportive team dedicated to seniors' well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
